 It was an awesome time away from the world and all it's cares. We worshiped, studied, played, meditated, laughed, prayed, ATE, snored, yelled in our sleep (ha ha) and testified about the Lord's goodness. He IS good, and Satan is on the prowl. He doesn't like what is going on in our lives. He doesn't want God to be glorified, or us to be encouraged, or our marriages to be strengthened, or our spirits to be quickened to seek the Lord. Nevertheless, that lame toothless lion may win some battles when we are caught off guard, or if God allows it, but he WILL NOT HAVE VICTORY. Take heart. God is watching over us and is so willing to be our strength and our JOY!!!!!! I want that too. Don't you?

This retreat was like none other that I've ever been on, the joy was so tangible for me that I could taste it. As those who were there heard in my testimony, this has rarely been the case for me over the past years of mental and emotional struggle. I think the most radical reminder of that for me was from Kim Tomoyasu who knew me previously. She pointed her finger at me and said in her classic way "You Change! You never used to smile! You always sing good but I knew something was wrong- now look at you! You laughing and smiling- You Change! Praise God!" To top it all off I would say would be the scripture scroll I pulled out of the basket. 

Zeph 3:17 The Lord your God is in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, he will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." 

I came home feeling loved by the most High God and refreshed and useful for his purpose whatever that may be.

I can't believe how awesome of a retreat it was.  What Jan said to me on Saturday night sums up the retreat perfectly:  "What blows my mind is how I am watching two strangers minister to each other.  The whole retreat is like this." Seriously, that's amazing.  That's God.

"I really haven't felt comfortable in a church atmosphere and had been turned off by a lot of what I've seen. I hadn't planned on the Lord touching me, I was determined not to cry, I was only going to come to spend time with my Sister-In-Law Jina. But when Bridget sung the song Hung the Moon by Kate Miner I just lost all resistance and felt the Lord moving me to tears. Bridget and I shared about many hurts and things on a deep level. My husband Jason and I used to minister on the streets. After this retreat I think we should consider it again. This is definitely not a church, it's More of Jesus!"

The 1st Annual More of Jesus.com Women's Retreat was a blessing.  A weekend of fellowship, encouragement, edification, impartation, revelation, more consecration, healing.  The anointing destroyed bondages, removed burdens, hurts, unforgiveness, pride, bitterness. Healing and deliverance was going on, not just in the Spirit realm, but was being manifested before my eyes in the natural. Since I have been back, our Lord and Savior has used me non-stop.  Praise the Lord. My spiritual fuel tank got filled up, and I have been going strong in the Lord doing the work that He has called me to do.  It is written:  Luke 4:18-19  The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor, He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.  Amen   This is what the retreat meant to me, and I am looking forward to the 2nd Annual More of Jesus.com retreat next year.  Thank you for your love and your support.  I have been delivered from oppression and the spirit of fear, I have returned to the streets of Anaheim, Stanton, and  Garden Grove  to spread the Love and Good News of Jesus Christ. This is my calling, and Me staying away even for that short amount of time effected me, my spirit wasn't right about it .  I am glad that I am back doing what I am supposed to be doing.  Jesus Is Lord.  Jesus is in the people business.

"I just wanted to say thank you for inviting me to the More of Jesus Retreat.  I was totally blessed beyond I could possibly imagine.  I was given a scripture (Jeremiah 33:6).  My head was anointed with oil and hands were laid on me and I was healed.  Not only that, after I went back to my seat, the place where the hands touched heated up and got hotter and I felt that there was a hand on my back and arms around me pushing and hugging.  I was so blessed.  I felt that God touched me and gave me what I needed.  That whole night my back tingled like ben-gay where I was touched.  I will never forget it ever.  Thank you so much and God bless you."
